Automatic Decoiling & Feeding: The process initiates with a hydraulic or motorized decoiler, securely holding and feeding large steel coils into the line. An optional coil car facilitates efficient loading. An entry guide ensures precise strip alignment.
Precision Leveling: The material progresses through a multi-roller leveling unit. This critical stage meticulously removes any internal stresses, coil set, or surface irregularities from the strip. Perfect flatness is essential for achieving the dimensional accuracy required in the final U-keel profile. The number and configuration of leveling rolls are optimized for the target material thickness.
Progressive Roll Forming: The heart of the China light keel roll forming machine line is its meticulously engineered roll forming station. Comprising a sequence of precisely machined forming stands, the flat strip is gradually and smoothly transformed into the exact U-profile. This system employs belts, arms, or counters to neatly organize the cut pieces into predetermined stack patterns (e.g., bundles of 50 or 100). The stacks are then conveyed out of the line, ready for strapping, packaging, and shipment. Optional automatic strapping or binding can be integrated.
